Like I said I'm pissed with Steam

Steam is Fucking Lame

So as most of you may not know I am from the United Kingdom and FEAR 2 Is not released officially until tomorrow lucky for me I bought a copy of it off www.play.com and it arrived this morning. Only to my surprise its a steam game (What the fuck since when is FEAR games steam) and because its not released yet I get this shitty message when I try to install it. :(

Can you guys think of any ways to get around this?

Oh and no FEAR 2 section so I put it in FEAR :(

    Can't you wait a day? Patience my man. I don't think there's a work around readily available.

    You make me think though, this might happen with my Dawn of War II. Game.co.uks pre-orders come a day early. Damnit. I kinda hope it's not solely on steam.

    It's not steams fault you can't buy it, it's the company who made it's fault.

    Steam can't control where to sell things, it's up to the game makers

    It is steam's fault. They are the ones stopping you from playing after all! Just torrent it. LOL

    Try to get a friend in the US (who you trust completely) to activate it for you, and download it onto their computer as well. Then, get them to send you the program files over the internet (Torrent, Fileshack ect.) and place it in your program files and it SHOULD work. Hopefully? Just a thought :X
