Welcome to the F.E.A.R. Project Origin thread!

Project Origin is the upcoming sequel to F.E.A.R in development by Monolith Productions for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. The sequel to F.E.A.R. continues the supernatural suspense story of an escalating paranormal crisis that threatens to destroy a major American city. At the center of the calamity is the mysterious Alma, whose rage against those who wronged her triggered a chain of events that has spiraled completely out of control. Instead of playing as the Point Man, the game's protagonist is a Delta Force operative whose squad is sent in to arrest Genevieve Aristide approximately thirty minutes before the ending of F.E.A.R. At some point in the game, the player character, via surgery, will receive reflex powers exhibiting the same slow-motion ability like the Point Man.

On September 21st, the first publicly released trailer, which featured gameplay footage, was revealed on Spike TV's "Game Head."

On July 4th, 2007, Monolith Productions held a name contest to see what the sequels name would be called. On September 6th the voting was closed and the winning name was Project Origin.

Here is the trailer! Here are some images of the game. The rest are here. Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
On a personal level, I can not wait for this game to be released. Which is going to be sometime in 2008. There is no set release date, but this will be fantastic!

I have submitted F.E.A.R. Project Origin into the games section for more information.

I can't remember the first time playing. I just remember having a great time sticking soldiers to the walls with the nail gun.

There is where you went wrong. FPS games are better for the PC.
